This photo of the bride was taken across the street from the Sonora Opera Hall on Main Street. The bride is flipping her gorgeous tulle fit and flare gown by Enzoani. She purchased the dress at La Soie Brial in Walnut Creek, California. The gathered bodice is flattering and the layered skirt is femine. She paired it with teal satin heels, her "something blue."
The Opera Hall is a very popular wedding venue in Sonora, a cute little Gold Rush town. Sonora was founded in 1851 by Mexican Miners. The downtown area still has the vintage architecture of the 1850s; it's very quaint.
It was February, and the theme was "Winter Wonderland." The bridal bouquet has pine cones and cotton along with red roses. The long tables at the reception were adorned with centerpieces made from white pebbles, wild branches, and crystals.
The Opera Hall is perfect for a medium to large wedding because of the size. It's one large room, a draped entrance, and a stage. There's plenty of room for dancing. It's a very nicely-kept ballroom style venue with wood floors and deep burgundy velvet curtains. There's even a balcony where your photographer can get some great shots!
