If your wedding was canceled or affected by COVID-19, Pinecrest is a fabulous location for an elopement or microwedding. Nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada forest in Tuolumne County, the Pinecrest area has a wide variety of landscapes, perfect for outdoorsy couples who love to explore.
Katie and Matt chose Pinecrest as their wedding destination because Matt's parents own a cabin there. He grew up visiting the area, swimming in the lake, hiking trails, camping, and exploring. Their ceremony was held behind the cabin in front of massive boulders. Their portraits were taken in that area, as well as at Donnell Vista. At the end of the night, they sat with their families and enjoyed a private dinner.
