This wedding was especially close to my heart, because I've known Lavenda and Mike since I was a child. They both lost their spouses in death within a year of each other. When they started doing ministry together, they both fought their romantic feelings. In fact, they didn't even like each other much. But their friendship grew, and they fell in love.
