There's nothing like a two-thousand-year-old tree to make you feel tiny and inconsequential. Katie and Kevin stand upon the stump of a cut-down sequoia tree, which dwarfs them in comparison. Sequoia's are the world's largest living organism, and adult trees were alive when Christ walked the earth.
This 6,000 acre state park preserves two groves of giant sequoias and includes a visitor's center, cabins, and camping. They are open year-round from sunrise to sunset.
