The bride and groom consider their English Bulldogs family, so of course they had them in their wedding as bridal party. Cortney and Craig had their small nuptials in their backyard. Rather than spending thousands of dollars on a wedding venue for the ceremony and reception, they landscaped their backyard and built an amazing bar.
The bride wore a vintage 1965 lace wedding gown with long sleeves and a full, layered ballgown skirt. The groom wore suspenders, a bow-tie, and Converse sneakers for a cool, vintage look.
The dogs were so well behaved, following mama and papa around and quietly begging from the caterer in their kitchen. The couple was so glad they did photos with their fur babies, because less than a year later, one of them passed away of old age. Now they have their special memories with their dogs forever.
The ceremony was short and sweet, with vows and prayers, the love birds declaring their love for each other in front of their closest friends and family. The color pallet was yellow and orange, cheery fall colors. The sunflowers and daisies in the bride's bouquet were purchased from Safeway and put together by the bride's sister-in-law.
The reception was a blast! It was just a fun cocktail party with amazing hot appetizers, s'mores, and root beer floats. The newly betrothed couple spent time talking, laughing, and celebrating with their guests.
