Yosemite is, by far, my favorite place to photograph weddings, elopements, and engagements. I grew up very close to Yosemite, and spent much of my time there while I was growing up and after. It’s a very special place to me because I went there with my dad so many times.
There are literally hundreds of spots to have an intimate ceremony, whether it be in a beautiful meadow, next to a river, surrounded by trees, or up at Glacier Point! It’s so fun to explore the park with a bride and groom and take photos in the beautiful landscape. Yosemite is gorgeous year-round, and each season has it’s own unique beauty. This time we were there in the fall, which is my favorite time in the park. The colors in the trees are gorgeous! We made it up to Glacier Point this time, and it was absolutely breathtaking! The sunset turns Half Dome pink and the light is soft and gorgeous.
A huge thank you to Katie and RJ for braving the cold and working so hard to make these photos! And to Events22 for the GORGEOUS flowers and the rentals!

Yosemite National Park is GORGEOUS in the fall. This is my favorite time of year to shoot elopements and weddings in Yosemite.
The colors in this tree are stunning. We found it behind the Majestic Yosemite Hotel.
Events22 went above and beyond for this bridal bouquet, adding orchids!
Our new friend!
We got to shoot with this young buck for about twenty minutes. The deer in Yosemite are so used to people and friendly. He was happy to be in the bride and groom’s photos!
The beautiful trees in Yosemite get even more beautiful in the fall, making a perfect wedding photo backdrop.
I had to get the coveted wedding photo with Half Dome in Yosemite’s valley floor.
Events22 provided us with some super cute rentals to use as a tablescape, lending elopement picnic inspiration. Mr T’s donuts provided the yummy wedding donuts!
Katie wore her fave cowgirl boots for the shoot, bringing in her bride personality.
Beautiful groom boutineer from Events22!
At the top of Glacier Point!
It was really freezing up at Glacier Point, so RJ was warming Katie’s hands. They’re so sweet together.
The view of Half Dome and the valley are majestic from Glacier Point in Yosemite. It makes wedding photos 10 times more beautiful.
Double exposure fun in Yosemite.
We finished off the date at sunset at Glacier Point!
