When I walked up to the GraphiStudio booth at WPPI in March, I immediately fell in love. I was drooling over the new matted album (available in two weeks eeeee!!!). All their albums are hand-bound at their main headquarters in Italy, which happens to be in a historic castle. How cool is that?

When I got home, I applied for an account, and within 48 hours, my US rep Christine called me. Not only is their product top-notch, but their customer service is awesome! Christine is so sweet and helpful, which is great, because I’m not exceptionally tech savvy (I shoot film, y’all), and I often need help ordering.

I received my custom sample kit, and I am completely blown away! The kit came with a primary book, a large parents’ album, and four mini parents’ albums. For the design, I chose Sara and Trevor’s Diablo Grande wedding – a classically beautiful wedding with a gorgeous couple. I went with the gold metal cover and pearl paper for the primary book. It’s gorgeous. The metal cover is amazing – thick, sturdy, beautiful, and unique. Love! The quality of the printing is outstanding! I’m so impressed that as a film shooter, I am able to put together a beautiful album like this for my clients. Last night I ordered another sample – a smaller size with a silver metal cover – and I can’t wait to get it.

These albums are available in several sizes with different covers and papers. The parents’ albums are a great value; they’re a smaller duplicate of the primary book. I design all the albums from scratch rather than using templates so they are all unique to each couple. I’ve added an album credit to our largest wedding collection, and after your wedding, albums are available for purchase a la carte or as part of a discounted bundle.

Here are some photos of the albums, but really, they’re a hundred times more awesome in person! Enjoy!

To see GraphiStudio at work, including people putting albums together by hand, check out their corporate promo video. I found it fascinating.

More gorgeousness!
