Devon and Peter are an elegant, kind, funny couple. They came all the way from Canada to get hitched in Yosemite, and the day was absolutely beautiful. Ribbons of clouds weaved their way through the valley, and it was gorgeous at Glacier Point. Keep scrolling to see their photos!
Custom gown made from scratch: The bride!
Suit: Ralph Loren
Officiant: Rev. Carol Dewey
The couple’s romantic ceremony was held in El Capitan Meadow, one of the large meadows in Yosemite’s valley. Rev. Carol Dewey did a beautiful job, and we all had tears in our eyes. The couple loved it and had huge grins on their faces. I can see how much Devon and Peter love each other by how they look at each other.
When I found out Devon made her dress from scratch, my mind was BLOWN. Her gorgeous ivory, long-sleeved gown fit her perfectly, and as I got to know her, I realized it fit her personality perfectly as well. She is demure and simply elegant.
Devon’s soft pink, cornflower blue, and ivory bouquet is my fave of this year so far. Huge ivory peonies are framed with bluebells, spray roses, and light pink traditional roses, all tied together with rustic greenery. Michelle at Events22 never disappoints!
