Kara and Scott’s wedding at Spring Creek Golf & Country Club was elegant, classy, and tons of fun. I got to know Kara when I did her boudoir session, so I knew how much she loves to laugh. I wasn’t prepared for how funny she and Scott are together. Working with them is ridiculously fun. They make each other so happy that they both smile and glow 24/7.
As soon as I saw Scott play with his little grand kids, I understood why Kara fell in love with him. No matter what, his granddaughter insisted she was at the center of his attention. It was precious! Whenever he tried to dance with Kara, the teeny little blondie would cut right in, and the three of them would end up dancing together for the rest of the song.
My favorite memory of the night is when Kara’s daughter gave her toast. She said she knew her mother was in love when she took up golf, because Kara HATES to exercise. She finally found someone that pushed her to try new things and expand her interests. She, along with many others, spoke of this couple’s pure love for family. Both sides of this blended family have opened their arms to the other and enveloped them completely. It’s really beautiful.
We’ve fallen in love with Spring Creek, an upscale country club venue. Everything about it is perfect for a wedding, and the staff is attentive, friendly, and well organized. The food is outstanding. Check out their bridal suite, ceremony space, and reception ballroom.
