Sarah and Tim’s Carmel Beach wedding was full of laughs, tears of happiness, fun, and cake. In my opinion, it was pretty perfect! Together with their children, they were joined as one. When Tim saw Sarah for the first time, he welled up with tears of happiness. So sweet. Their ceremony was beautiful, including a special sand ceremony to blend their family. They are no longer “Yours, mine, and ours.” They are “Us.” There is no question that they have become one.
Sarah and Tim were high school sweethearts, dating for about a year before breaking up. They went their separate ways and both had children at the same time. When their friends got them back together eight years ago, they realized they are meant for each other. On their five-year anniversary, Tim proposed on Avila Beach in San Luis Obispo, under the stars, and he cried, overcome with love for this amazing, sweet, funny, spunky woman. He loves her with his whole body, soul, and mind, and that is obvious.
This wedding had many special moments. They had TWO different cake cuttings, one on the beach in Carmel after the ceremony, and another during their reception later that night. (Sarah LOVES cake!) Sarah’s father surprised her with a fun song, and they boogied down on the dance floor! In a very special one-night-only performance, Tim danced with their little daughter Annabell to Let it Go. (I hope that Tim and Annabell dance to the same song at her wedding someday.) There was even a surprise hula dance!
Sarah has impeccable taste, as you can see in their gorgeous decor. Every detail was given attention, down to the little charms on the monogrammed wine glasses. I had a ball photographing all their classy details.

Haha I love the pic of the little girl at the table on the beach while the bride and groom eat their cake! Perfectly captured moment!
