This was our first time photographing a wedding at Leal Vineyards in Hollister, California, and I quickly fell in love with this ceremony and reception venue.
The grounds are beautiful for photos. The ceremony was held on the deck overlooking a pond and fountain. The guests sat in nice white chairs on green, manicured grass.
A staff member drove us around the property in a golf cart, which made it very easy to make beautiful bridal portraits. This area with the ivy is my favorite spot. It overlooks the rows of vines.
The bride and groom chose to have their wedding in January, because they got a great deal, and it made it easier on the budget. They didn't spare expense for the reception food. It was the most delicious wedding meal I've had in a very long time. Leal has their own chefs, so if you have your wedding there, you're ensured to have fantastic food. (Which is all I care about, really.)
Leal's Barrel Room is my favorite ballroom we've seen so far. It's elegant and luxurious, lined with barrels of wine and twinkle lights. It was like being in a fairy tale. It's a pretty large space, so if you're planning to have a huge guest list, it's a good option.
